A new service started in 2007 is the Genealogy Beeper, which is a smarter way to "google" for all the data hiding in databases and private genealogy homepages in Sweden. Reach over 20 million names!
 
The Scangen mailing list has been active without interruption since 1995. The discussions are mostly in Swedish, but contributions in other languages are also welcome. Today most questions are posted in the web forum, and sent to the mailing list. These must be answered in the forum, not with e-mail.
